We are thrilled to announce the delivery of our first production Series 5 to Marion and Ruaraidh!
The Series 5 has been in development for years and has been through thousands of hours of testing, both in the real world and in laboratory conditions – including the all-important crash test.
From small beginnings practising with concepts and prototypes, pushed on by our relentless drive to create a powerful and reliable powerchair, we are now very proud to have finally achieved Medical Device Status for the Series 5!
Marion has been a powerchair user for a few years and although she had a chair that made her physically mobile, she did not feel confident enough to independently do all the things she wanted. Ever present was the nagging and all-too-common worry many chair users face “What if my chair lets me down?”.
This is something that as a founder and powerchair user I understand all too well, as it was my own frustrations that instigated the business in the first place!
Many years later, all that time in R&D, all that testing and continuous improvement has been done with the same target in mind; to remove the worry and replace it with possibility and potential.
As we’ve always said, whether you use your Series 5 to go to work, go shopping, go to the pub, or go to the other side of the world; our end goal has always been to create a powerchair that delivers consistent reliability and performance and to set the bar for reliability and customer experience.
At Freedom One Life we want our customers to spend less time thinking about what might go wrong and instead spend more time thinking about their day, their week, and what comes next!
Marion already has a list of things to try in her new Series 5 and we cannot wait to hear what she and her husband Ruaraidh get up to!
We look forward to delivering the freedom that the Series 5 creates to our many more customers. If you think that could be you, book a test drive using the link at the top of the page. We would be delighted to make you…as delighted as Marion!
